I helped brush teeth, measure urine, collect breakfast trays, make beds, and did blood sugar tests. Monday was my first day ever doing a blood sugar test on another person besides myself, it was really neat. The nurse was very friendly and she helped me through it. On Thursday I shadowed a nurse and saw two patients. One with respitory problems and the other with chest pains. I watched her administer medicine and helped give them blood sugar tests. This time I was better at it.","replyPages":[{"page":0,"digests":[{"id":"43854640","body":"Thank you for your detail. Sounds like you had a nurse who trusted you to do things. Keep up the good work. This man was a fall risk, he was also mentally handicapped. He kept trying to get out of his bed and kept yelling and kept asking where he was. This experience taught me that nurses must be very patient, when dealing with a pacient. They also must be very calm and understanding. The nurse I was with was very helpful and nice, she kept her cool despite the situation.","replyPages":[{"page":0,"digests":[],"more":0}]}],"more":false},"comments":[]},"http":{"code":200,"status":"OK"},"redirectUrl":null,"javascript":null,"notices":{"warning":[],"error":[],"info":[],"success":[]}}
